To add Google Maps to your Joomla site, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Google Maps website and click on the "Sign In" button in the top right corner.
  2. Sign in with your Google account. If you don't have one, you'll need to create one.
  3. Click on the "My Maps" tab in the top left corner.
  4. Click on the "Create" button.
  5. Type in a name for your map and click "Save".
  6. Click on the "Add Marker" button.
  7. Type in the location you want to add to the map and click "Add to Map".
  8. Repeat the previous step to add more locations to the map.
  9. When you are finished adding locations, click on the "Link" icon in the top right corner.
  10. Click on the "Embed on my site" tab.
  11. Copy the HTML code provided.
  12. In Joomla, go to the page or article where you want to add the map.
  13. Click on the "HTML" tab in the editor.
  14. Paste the HTML code you copied from Google Maps into the editor.
  15. Click "Save" and then "Close".

Your Google Map should now be displayed on your Joomla site. If you need to make any changes to the map, you can do so by going back to the "My Maps" tab in Google Maps and editing the map from there.

To add Google Maps in Joomla, you can follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your Joomla website's admin panel.
  2. Go to Extensions > Manage > Install.
  3. In the "Upload Package File" section, click on the "Choose File" button and select the Google Maps module file (usually in .zip format) that you have already downloaded.
  4. Click on the "Upload & Install" button to upload and install the module.
  5. Once the installation is complete, go to Extensions > Modules.
  6. Look for the Google Maps module from the list and click on it to open the module settings.
  7. Set the module parameters according to your requirements, such as the module position, title, dimensions, etc.
  8. In the "API Key" field, enter the Google Maps API key. If you don't have one, you will need to create it on the Google Cloud Platform console.
  9. Save the module settings.
  10. Next, go to Menus > Main Menu (or another desired menu) and click on "New".
  11. Select the "Google Maps" menu item type.
  12. Configure the menu item options, such as the map address, zoom level, and module assignment.
  13. Save the menu item.
  14. Check your Joomla website's frontend to see the Google Maps module and menu item in action.

Note: The steps may vary depending on the version of Joomla you are using and the specific Google Maps module you choose to install. It is recommended to consult the documentation provided with the module for detailed instructions.
