How to overwrite the theme in shopify?

To overwrite the theme in Shopify, follow these steps:

1. Login to your Shopify account and go to the Themes section in the Online Store tab.
2. In the Themes section, find the theme you want to overwrite and click on the Actions dropdown menu, then select Duplicate.
3. This will create a duplicate of the theme you want to overwrite. Click on the Customize button for the duplicated theme.
4. Make any changes or modifications you want in the Theme Editor. You can customize the theme settings, layout, colors, fonts, and more.
5. Once you have made all the necessary changes, click Save at the top right corner of the screen to save your changes.
6. After saving your changes, go back to the Themes section and click on the Actions dropdown menu for the original theme you want to overwrite. Select Remove.
7. Confirm that you want to remove the original theme and replace it with the duplicated theme you customized.
8. Your changes will now be reflected on your online store with the duplicated theme as the new active theme.

Remember to backup any important files or code snippets before overwriting the theme to avoid losing any important data.
